Willowin Plantation is a fifth-generation family farm and pine plantation in the South Central Georgia Coastal Plain. From its inception as a turpentine plantation in the early 1930’s Willowin has served as the private quail, turkey, and deer hunting preserve of the Wingate family. And now we want to make our family hunting preserve your private hunting experience.

Even though we could accommodate as many as ten or fifteen hunting parties at once, we prefer to limit hunts to one party at a time. In other words, the place is all yours - you and your guests can hunt a new course every time out and never hear another gun shot. We’ve always treasured our time in the field or on the water with friends and family, and now we want to share that experience with our guests, making you feel like a part of the family.

The owners of Willowin Plantation - Will Wingate, Richard Wingate, and Kevin Branch – are avid outdoorsmen themselves. From hunting quail, deer, dove, turkey and ducks to fly fishing in Montana, not a week goes by without the Wingate family spending time in the great outdoors. So if you have any questions – from how the birds are flying to how the fish are biting, you can call us any time.

Willowin’s extensive acreage is managed for the pursuit of game through the planting of food plots and extensive prescribed burning. We have undertaken a strong management program for quail and are having amazing success. There are more gobblers on the property than ever before and our whitetails are growing bigger racks each year. In addition to the hunting grounds, we have many stocked ponds and over three miles of frontage on the Willacoochee River available for the fisherman. Simply put, Willowin has grown to become a true sportsman’s paradise.
